Sparsh Gupta is a visual artist based in Goa. His practice is informed by classical training in Florence and years of work across studios in Europe and the United States.
Working across canvas, leather, fabric, metal, and carpet, Gupta engages material as both surface and structure. His works occupy a space between art and object, where process is visible and touch is retained.
Each piece reflects an ongoing inquiry into memory, tactility, and transformation. Through measured interventions and a sensitivity to material behaviour, Gupta builds forms that hold tension between permanence and fragility, tradition and reinterpretation.

FOR COMMISSIONS
You can work with Sparsh in a few different ways, depending on what you’re looking for.
You may choose to collect original works from an existing body of work spanning oil on canvas, oil on wood, graphite, and charcoal. Each piece is an original and is available to collect.
Sparsh also undertakes custom commissions, creating bespoke works across a range of formats and materials including oil on canvas,
oil on wood, graphite drawings, charcoal drawings, rugs, and leather works. Commissions begin with a simple conversation around scale, medium, and overall direction, allowing the artwork to evolve organically while remaining aligned with your space or specific requirements.
