SPARSH GUPTA

Sparsh Gupta is a visual artist based in Goa, India. His practice is informed by classical training in Florence and years of work across studios in Europe and the United States.
Working across canvas, leather, fabric, metal, and carpet, Gupta engages material as both surface and structure. His works occupy a space between art and object, where process is visible and touch is retained.
Each piece reflects an ongoing inquiry into memory, tactility, and transformation. Through measured interventions and a sensitivity to material behaviour, Gupta builds forms that hold tension between permanence and fragility, tradition and reinterpretation.
